As a parent, I am constantly having to lookout for the moral messages that our culture is trying to teach my children. In every kid’s show, kid’s book, and movie, is a moral message. Nothing is neutral. Most children’s content is centered on near universally accepted values such as loyalty, kindness, friendship, and integrity. That’s the same for both secular and sacred media, as there are many values which a pluralistic society attains to that have near universal appeal.

That seems to be changing rapidly.

Over the last few years there seems to have been an acceleration of a movement towards the not just the tolerance and rights of LGBTQ people, but the absolute insistence that everyone endorse and approve of their lifestyle. The pressure upon corporations, institutions, religions, and schools to show external proof of participation in this political movement has increased. It seems that almost everyone has caved. There are of course notable exceptions.

This movie represents a very real and very aggressive push to normalize gender ideology to young audiences. The sacred space of Family-Friendly movies has been intentionally breached by an entertainment giant that is intent on making a statement. It reveals that the world of entertainment is massively entrenched in the LGBTQ culture, and they are operating under their moral imperative to spread their gospel to young viewers.
